Dennis:

Would you be willing to do a lunch and learn on Project Management at our company? We can provide lunch. Would be a group of about 15-20 folks.

Let me know.

Great post.

Love the graphic. One thing that comes to mind is the all-up "investment" of people, funds, time, risk, distraction, etc. and getting it on a continuum of impact. In other words, if the investment is X, and the impact is one and a half X, then the project may be worthwhile, but if the investment is 2X and the impact is 5X, then you have some insight (even if simply assertion based) as to how much you have to invest to make a worthwhile impact, and which projects aren't worth investin in at all, and which ones you should double (or more) your investment. Easier said than done, but still a worthwhile exercise in my view.
